While the Trojan Activity Center at Troy High School is usually bursting with cheers
for outstanding athletic accomplishments, today it was bursting with holiday cheer. Students from Concord Elementary School met with their high school reading buddies to share lunch, a story, holiday crafts and even a gift. Parents helped organize the lunch by serving food and supervising the craft activities. High school students, who go to Concord weekly to encourage reading, enjoyed a break from the traditional cafeteria lunchroom setting and sat on the floor of the gym. The smiles of both groups of Troy City Schools students tell a story of success.
